Job summary

Summary

This position is a hybrid role:

  • Support the DAR Sales and SLT activity in the Americas (covering all CLF and ERA sectors, with a strong focus on Project Finance and Digital Infrastructure - North America and Latin America).
  •  Support the DAR CRI activity in the Americas, developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, coordinating deal flow with business lines, coordinating certain aspects of the sourcing and placing of CRI activity, both onshore and offshore in coordination with the CRI teams in Paris and London. 

This role requires fully developed time management and multi-tasking skills, with accuracy and meeting deadlines being of essential importance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales
    • Coordinate with DAR Syndicate teams and support global SLT team to maintain and develop relationships with banks and institutional investors to drive loan sales in both primary and secondary markets, in addition to frequent investor coverage followed by detailed Call Reports posted on Debt Domain;
    • Conduct sales calls and attend meetings with prospective investors as part of the distribution process; 
    • Coordinate and work with DAR Syndicate teams with primary sell down to reach approved loan final take target;
    • Actively participate in primary syndications covering accounts and reporting feedback back to DAR Syndicate teams;
    • Participate in regular pipeline calls with DAR Syndicate teams to anticipate upcoming new transactions to come to market;
    • Review legal documentation with respect to transferability and confidentiality provisions;
    • Deepen and broaden knowledge of underlying deals and investors; and
    • Any other tasks and responsibilities as requested. 
  • CRI
    • Coordinate new CRI activity (with CRI Paris and London) offshore activity for CLF and ERA;
    • Support in internal and external marketing efforts for CRI in the Americas; and
    • Deepen and broaden CRI market expertise.

Key Responsibilities (Continued)

  • SLT
    • Liaise with the Asset Rotation Optimization (ARO) Team on any existing or new production where secondary sell down is required; and assisting in monitoring the portfolio of available assets for sale
    • Assist DAR Syndicate teams with secondary selldown of overhold positions
    • Assist in setting price for secondary loan sales and executing loan and portfolio trades
    • Become fluent with all the bank booking, loan settlement, and monitoring systems (i.e. LoanTrak, ACBS, Clearpar, Loantracker, Kiwis)
    • Assist in regular monitoring of trading limits for Americas trading books with weekly reporting to RPC/Credit Risk
    • Liaise directly with other secondary loan market trading desks and brokers
    • Assist in preparing and/or reviewing secondary market commentary for DAR Opinions and Market Reads, including liquidity analysis
    • KYC – check KIWIS for counterparty and borrower status prior to trade and settlement, potentially become a Wordwide Relationship Manager (WRM)
    • Prepare or contribute in the preparation of Axe sheets for sales distribution
    • Review legal documentation with respect to transferability and confidentiality provisions
    • Ensure that trades are settled correctly and on a timely basis;
    • Assist in the preparation of documents for senior management (including for RWA exercise, list of assets for sale)
    • Deepen and broaden relationships with broker dealers and knowledge on the loan market
    • Maintain and regularly update databases & reporting files
