Summary
Operations & Country COOs (OPC) in Hong Kong is made up of four main teams:
- Financing & Trade Operations (FTO) including Documentary & Guarantee Operations, Credit & Loan Operations
- Transaction Banking Operations (TBO) covering client account operations
- Capital Markets Operations (CMO) including Middle Office, Back Office and Transverse Operations functions
- Asia & Middle-East Operations Projects (AOP) covering CMO, FTO, TBO and Transversal projects
Asia & Middle-East Operations Projects team (AOP) is composed of staffs with different level of seniority covering IT or transformation projects for all the teams mentioned above as well as strategic projects (operating mode, organisational changes...) and innovation related ones (Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Digitalisation and Client Experience...). Our missions are to:
- Assist AOP Head in covering HK local projects by
- Helping coordinating all local projects where OPC is involved and ensuring change management is properly managed
- Participate to studies
- Cover most of the regional projects:
- Coordinating projects impact for other sites if needed
- AOP also acts as information system knowledge expert and as such are in the loop of all IT enhancements requested by local teams – Capacity to follow-up on issues on behalf of users
- AOP ensures OPC projects alignment and follow-up with other support functions or Business Lines
- Ensure the link with Head Office (HO):
- Prepare communication head office on project progress
- Prepare communication to the region
In order to cope with the projects to be managed within this scope, we are looking for a trainee that will be assisting AOP project managers on several initiatives for the Asia region: mainly on assisting the deployment of a Client Request Management tool, assisting on a migration project to a new tool for several teams, other initiatives in the scope of AOP team.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the local head of the project team and other project managers.
- Help the AOP PM to prepare committees and communication to report project progress.
- Be in charge of some project management activities (planning, reporting, dashboard and progress reports, meeting animation etc.).
- Collect and formalize user business requirements, draft test cases and provide support to the users when implementing the project.
- Perform Data Analytics
- UAT follow-up and coordination between users and IT.
- Regular communication to Management on the project progress.
