Job summary

We are seeking an Intern to assist the Chief of Staff at Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) London Branch. This role involves conducting various transversal missions on behalf of the Senior Country Officer, directly receiving instructions from the Chief of Staff for prioritised missions. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or business, experience in a banking environment, and demonstrate key competencies such as strategic thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and robust problem-solving abilities.

 

Key Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the Chief of Staff in managing transversal projects within London in conjunction with the Country Senior Country Officer
  • Follow up on different actions identified during the analysis phase of a project and facilitate its implementation
  • Organise collaborative transversal work sessions between various department representatives from the Front Office and Support functions
  • Conduct analysis of processes, workflows, and produce conclusive reports, including delivery and follow-up of ad-hoc missions from the Chief of Staff (post-mortems, investigations)
  • Participate in the preparation of various committees and reports for management and external stakeholders

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent

Experience

Experience in a banking environment, particularly in audit, finance, operations, or IT

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• High level of rigour, sense of organisation, and autonomy
• Capacity to cooperate and work across disciplines, open-mindedness, and ability to integrate new information at a fast pace

Technical skills required

• Strong proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
