Energy and Real Assets Advisory
CACIB offers its clients significant project finance expertise with a worldwide team dedicated to financing and advisory in the Infrastructure, Natural Resources, and Power & Utilities sectors. We combine our deep understanding of global and regional markets and our strong structuring capabilities with an in-depth knowledge of the business strategies and goals of our international clients.
The Energy and Real Assets Advisory team provides the following services:
- Debt Advisory: Structure and raise senior, mezzanine, HoldCo, preferred, and other types of financing for greenfield and operating assets, portfolios, and other platforms utilizing commercial bank, capital markets, and export credit agency financing sources
- Commercial Advisory: Support clients in responding to tenders (e.g., Public-Private Partnerships, off-take agreements) and in negotiating joint-venture and commercial transaction structures
- Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory (in conjunction with the Investment Banking team): Advise on the sale, purchase, or raising equity capital for assets, portfolios or development opportunities
Job Description
- Play a key role on deal teams for transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors (including renewables, oil & gas, hydrogen, transportation, etc.) by supporting senior deal team members
- Prepare complex financial models from scratch and conduct financial analysis
- Create and prepare high quality presentations for clients, investors, and lenders
- Assist in the diligence process by reviewing project documents (such as engineering reports, power purchase agreements and other project related contracts), financial and legal reports, and other documentation
- Support research, analysis, and preparation of pitches and other materials to proactively understand client needs and originate new business
- Stay up to date on industry news, trends, and actively participate in idea generation

U.S. Analyst Program
As part of growing our award-winning global advisory franchise CACIB is seeking a U.S. Analyst to join the Energy and Real Assets Advisory team in New York covering the U.S., Canada, and Latin America.
The U.S. Analyst program offers an opportunity for recent college graduates interested in finance and investment banking to actively participate in this fast-paced and challenging industry. We provide our U.S. Analysts with the opportunity to learn and develop their skills on real transactions by working with clients, preparing deliverables, and being involved in the entire transaction process.
The U.S. Analyst position is available for a maximum of two years. The goal of the U.S. Analyst program is to develop the ideal candidate into a full-time position at the end of the two years.
