Drive sales of High Yield credit products to institutional clients across primary markets (DAR/CLF) and secondary markets (GMD). Function as an integral member of the UK Credit Sales Team, collaborating to cross-sell and support the distribution of Investment Grade and Emerging Markets credit products.
Key responsibilities is as follows:
Sales & Client Coverage
- Market the bank's credit product suite to asset managers, insurance companies, hedge funds, banks, and other financial institutions
- Identify and onboard new clients while deepening existing relationships
- Originate transactions and coordinate execution with trading desks within established risk parameters
- Provide market colour, hedging recommendations, and trade ideas aligned with client objectives and risk tolerance
- Plan and conduct client meetings and roadshows in full alignment with the Credit Chain (Origination, Syndicate, Trading, Research)
- Coordinate coverage strategy with DAR/CLF Distribution team (Loans) and the Bank’s Relationship Managers
Business Development
- Monitor economic and financial data affecting credit markets
- Develop and implement client actions plans tied to wallets of opportunity and market opportunities
- Achieve individual targets and help achieve team revenue targets by contributing in all relevant public and team forums
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across the bank
Control
- Ensure proper client classification under FCA rules
- Complete client onboarding through credit, legal, compliance, and operations before trading
- Escalate material risks or compliance issues to Head of Desk promptly
Risk
- Adhere to and understand risks to the bank and the client resulting from marketing initiatives or successful conclusion of transactions.
- Ensure the Head of Desk is made fully aware in a timely fashion of all matters that might have a material impact on the team performance, risk position or compliance with legal or regulatory requirements.
Communication
- Engage with clients to promote the bank and its products.

Degree preferably in a Mathematical or Finance/Economics subject
Essential:
Extensive experience in High Yield Sales or in other High Yield Credit roles
Desirable:
Buyside or Syndicate experience
Skills and Knowledge requirements:
