Job summary
** This position will be under the Employee Referral Program in Hong Kong.
Summary
The position is Procurement Officer within the Global Sourcing and Procurement department of HKG. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and hands-on individual with a flexible and adaptable approach to fill this position.
The Procurement functions supports the full procurement life cycle from sourcing, run RFP, contract negotiation, supplier management, contracts legal review, purchase process, and spend analysis. GSP is also playing a key role in global procurement initiatives to help identifying, planning and driving various activities from time to time.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process for HK/APAC expenses managed by GSP. This position will also be the central document administrator for all contracts and templates.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities (savings, process optimization…)
- Assist the mapping of external spend and identify action plan to optimize spend
- Launch and lead RFx
- Define the sourcing project structure and the RFP requirements with the activity manager
- Contract Negotiation & Vendor Selection with activity manager
- Maintain the standard template of terms & conditions with legal department
- Ensure the compliance of the contracts with the legal department
- Assist the activity manager in the contract management
- Assess risk of the service/the vendor and implement on-going monitoring
- Maintain the vendor management program and the templates associated with the Vendor Management Program (RFP, standard terms and conditions, risk assessment…)
- Assist on the coordinating for global / regional projects related to GSP.
- Spend reporting and analysis

- Indirect Procurement background necessary with an understanding of current regulations and practices
- Banking experience is a plus
