The Financial Steering and ALM division is a team within the Finance Department that encompasses the following product lines within Credit Agricole CIB Americas: Profitability & Internal Pricing (PIP), Asset and Liability Management (ALM), and CFO Solutions (CFX.) The mission statement of the Financial Steering and ALM division is to provide comprehensive analysis of Credit Agricole CIB’s business activities. The scope of the analysis focuses on the bank’s solvability, liquidity, balance sheet, profitability, and regulatory status. Financial Steering and ALM also measures financial risks faced by the bank in order to identify the appropriate hedging solutions necessary.
The CFO Solutions (CFX) team is an evolution of the Financial Analysis team. The objective of team is to server as a liaison between Finance Department and the Business Lines. The team, develops, maintains, and operates the tools and resources need to collect, organize, analyze and report financial related data for executive management, reporting, and to inform business lines. The team also serves as the point of contact to receive information and feedback from business lines and coverage regarding their current and expected performance and the results being published locally.
Overview of Position:
- Member of the CFX team covering all aspects of the financial reporting production for Americas’ activities.
- Lead setting-up of FA stream: processes, systems and production definitions.
- Produce financial analysis for the local executive management as well as for each business line.
- Ensure coordination with different contributing product controllers and business lines teams (capital markets, financing…)
- Actively support and communicate with business lines team regarding their performance, past and future results, and other relevant discussions to ensure the Finance Department has an adequate understanding of our business activities and client strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Produce analysis on business activities through different dimensions such as capital, liquidity, revenues, and PnL and other finance related reports and presentations.
- Coordinate with the different management reporting teams, Financial Steering and ALM team members and business lines if needed to produce financial analysis and analytics.
- Coordinate communications with business lines to ensure Finance has a detailed understanding of how business lines’ and coverage teams’ activities for financial report supplementation.
- Assist the different teams to maintain, enhance, as well as generate specific data and analytics.
- Liaise with Head Office correspondents.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects requested by Finance local Management or by Head office.
- Adheres to all regulatory rules and limits. Strictly follows risk control policies and procedures. Completes, on time, all mandated compliance training and assignments to meet external and internal regulatory requirements.

MBA or Graduate Degree in Science Math or Engineering a plus.
Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies Required:
- Proficiency in MS Office, Power Bi
- Good knowledge of business intelligence and data science-based analysis. Comfortable with creating and communicating findings/results based on analytical research.
