Job summary

Summary

ITB Distribution is responsible for the distribution financing transactions originated by ITB Americas, notably across the following Product Lines:
-        Global Trade and Commodities, which includes:
o    Trade Finance;

o    Receivable and Supply Chain Finance Solutions;

o   Commodity Finance; and

-        Export Credit Agency and Multilateral Financing Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior ITB Distributor in working with ITB to originate, price, structure, distribute, and execute ITB transactions in the Americas region (primary and secondary);
  • Produce offers/proposals, client pitches, and term sheets with the ITB Origination and Structuring teams;
  • Prepare and review/oversee financing assessments, which include comparable transactions and analysis of market data;
  • Prepare and/or review pitch books and market updates for clients, Information Memoranda, Teasers and other marketing materials for lead transactions and presentations for bank meetings /road shows, as needed;
  • Prepare syndication strategies, underwriting opinions, and market reads/commentaries;
  • Assist with Q&A during sell down/due diligence process;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors active in the Americas, including international and domestic banks and non-banks/institutional investors;
  • Support senior ITB Distributor in the selling of assignments and/or participations in ITB transactions in primary and secondary markets, in close coordination with ITB origination teams, to manage scarce resources and achieve asset rotation;
  • Work closely with the CRI desk and/or broker to secure appetite and execute CRI agreements on ITB transactions;
  • Assist in negotiating and reviewing credit and facility agreements and provide relevant comments from a distribution perspective;
  • Negotiate and review master risk participation agreements with banks and non-banks/institutional investors;
  • Execute all distribution closing procedures, including but not limited to, updating internal systems (Diamond and Global Underwriting tracker), preparing DAR Closing Memos, reviewing Fee Memos, and submitting League Table credits to third-party providers when applicable;
  • Assist in investor due diligence Q&A, as well as Credit and Underwriting Committees to secure internal approvals;
  • Prepare Call Reports following investor meetings/calls for entry on Debt Domain and Client Live;
  • Represent and defend DAR position in ITB Business Committee, New York Business Pipeline Committee, DAR Underwriting Committee, and, and various Credit Committees, credibly;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, including international and domestic banks, non-banks/institutional investors, and multilateral institutions. Continuously expand the investor base and stay abreast of investor trends/any changes in appetite;

 

Salary: $100,000 - 110,000

  • Cover assigned investors to stay up-to-date on their strategy, appetite, needs, and goals to facilitate future collaboration, including via phone calls, meetings, and attending industry events to represent CACIB and build beneficial relationships (with both investors and clients);
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Middle Office and Back Office teams to ensure accurate transaction bookings;
  • Selectively support buy side activities in the secondary market for ITB transactions; and
  • Other tasks and responsibilities (flexibility to step in/ help with other tasks as requested).

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Education Essential: BA/BS (Finance)

Education Desirable: MBA or Masters degree in Finance
