Summary
This is a hybrid role requiring strong technical skills as well as good common sense.
The role requires working with the Senior Members of the team to maintain existing automate tools, various operational risk reporting and the central ORM databases.
The candidate will have to upgrade functionalities by following the development and security standards and processes.
It requires a sense of independence and ability to work and to adapt within a challenging environment.
CA-CIB London's Risk Department is responsible for ensuring sound risk management in compliance with regulations. The team is multidisciplinary and experienced in transversal work in a multicultural environment and each of its members has diverse and complementary skills. It is responsible for identifying, managing, monitoring and reporting the primary risks (credit, market, operational) generated by the business activities of CA-CIB London Branch. Its primary objective is to protect the Bank, secure the development and minimise the cost of risk because of business lines’ activities.
Recognized as a school of excellence, a successful passage within our Unit opens up future prospects for all the other functions of the bank in England and abroad.
Reporting to the Head of RPC/ORM UK, the successful candidate shall:
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain reporting’s, upgrade dashboards and to produce qualitative data in order to produce pertinent analysis.
- Maintain existing tools in Python
- Coordinate team developments requirements and IT team in Singapore and Paris Head-Office
- Ensure effectiveness and consistency of the control plans
- Able to identify weaknesses in the Bank processes and to analyse incidents and losses
- Perform back-testing, continuous improvement
- Produce/Maintain operational procedures
