Job summary

Join our Team as an FX Middle Office Intern, where you will gain invaluable exposure and hands-on experience in supporting either FX Sales or FX Trading.

 

This role is an excellent opportunity to understand post-trade operations, client service, and the critical control functions between Front Office trading activities and Back Office settlement processes in a global investment bank. As an intern, you will develop competencies in rigorous analysis, effective communication, and operational efficiency, essential for a successful career in finance. The role requires someone to be proficient in Excel and knowledge of capital markets processes.

 

 

Key Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

 

Depending on your placement, your responsibilities may include:

  • Trade Support: Assist with basic trade processing under direct supervision, learning trade validation processes in Front Office systems.
  • Data Management: Help with data entry and verification tasks.
  • Allocation Introduction: Learn basic allocation processes.
  • Fails Awareness: Develop awareness of settlement fails processes.
  • Revenue Basics: Be introduced to revenue reporting concepts.
  • Monitoring: Support the team in tracking deal flow.
  • Documentation: Assist with document preparation and filing.
  • Learning: Develop understanding of Middle Office processes and controls.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the team
