Job summary

We are offering an exciting internship opportunity to assist and support the COO of our Credit platform. This role is ideal for students who are studying accounting and finance (or equivalent), eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, fast-paced business environment. You will gain hands-on experience in financial management and credit operations. Applicants are expected to have a foundational understanding of financial principles and a keen interest in capital markets.

 

Key Responsibilites are, but are not limited to:

 

  • Assist the Business Management team in preparing Primary Credit presentations, crucial for strategic decision-making
  • Engage in the analysis of markets and league tables, applying financial theories and methodologies learned in your studies
  • Perform daily Credit P&L production and related commercial analyses, offering a real-world application of accounting principles
  • Maintain and manage intellectual capital of the group, including databases of recent issues and pipelines, honing your data management skills
  • Participate in reviewing, updating, maintaining, and implementing Policies and Procedures of Primary Credit, providing insight into regulatory and compliance aspects of finance
  • Support the Global Credit Business Manager in ongoing projects, gaining exposure to high-level financial strategy and operations

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field

Experience

• Demonstrable interest in capital markets, either through academic coursework (such as econometrics or financial markets modules) or a previous internship in finance
