Job summary

Responsible for supporting of Global Markets Division product sales to existing/new customers of the Bank and liaising with other areas of the Bank with the aim of flawless deal execution. The customer base consists of corporate including large conglomerates, government sovereign companies and multi-national companies.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

1.     Strategy and Business Planning -       Understand corporate needs and act as primary point of contact between clients and trading/structuring desks to design and deliver flow products and customized hedging and investment solution products
-       Build long term relationship with corporate clients through regular market updates and strategic dialogues
-       Identify client exposure and objectives in FX, interest rates, structured derivatives, and liquidity/ funding related solutions and formulate marketing plans
-       Originate transactions from clients and coordinate the efficient execution of the trading desk
-       Develop new corporate clients by proactively assessing market opportunities, industry trends, and client needs
-       Drive revenue growth and franchise expansion while adhering to internal risk, compliance, and conduct standards
-       Be aware of all economic and financial data likely to affect the products being marketed
-       Plan and organize client visits and meetings
-       Liaise with Relationship Managers/Senior Bankers in other areas of the Bank regarding marketing opportunities
-       Aim to meet individual objectives and targets and overall team and product line budget

2.     Management and Reporting
-       Report to the Head of Corp Sales daily on an informal basis on the progress of the business and specific issues
-       Attend regular/ ad hoc meetings with the Sales team to review market strategy, exchange ideas and receive updates on any important administrative matters

3.      Control
-       Ensure clients are suitably classified (under FSCMA) and are dealt with appropriately.
-       Ensure clients are cleared by credit, legal, compliance and back office before trading.
-       Ensure the trade monitoring of counterparty risk

4.     Risk
-       Adhere to and understand risks to the bank and the client resulting from marketing initiatives or successful conclusion of transactions

Supplementary Information

Communication:
-       Network with contacts in the business as directed by Head of Corp Sales

-       Contact clients via approved communication tools to closely follow up as directed by the Head of Corp Sales
