Job summary


The position requires a sound technical knowledge to ensure that the delivered solution answers the business’ needs – new developments, enhancements, maintenance tasks and bug fixes intended for the Loanscape program.

Main responsibilities:

·        Design and develop IT application for corporate banking department with focus on financing domain.

·        Join workshops to prepare detailed estimates with technical leaders.

·        Join and also lead some grooming sessions to prepare technical design

·        Ensure code quality, delivery and maintenance for modules under responsibility

·        Perform Unitary test and Code/Peer Reviews.

·        Handle Technical test activities (including Integration and UAT)

·        Co-ordinate with other contributors for deployment related tasks.

·        Mentor junior developers and conduct knowledge sharing sessions


Main duties details:

Technical Analysis, Development and Testing
·        Convert Functional Specifications to Technical Specifications
·        Design and develop applications as per specifications
·        Convert User Stories to Technical Stories if applicable
·        Assist functional team members in all development related activities
·        Conduct integration testing before handing over product for UAT
·        Provide technical support during UAT
·        Assist Technical Leader and act as backup if needed for delegated tasks.
Maintenance and support
·        Provide L3 technical support for applications under responsibility after Go-live
·        Analyse and resolve tickets raised by end-users in production environment
·        Analyse enhancement requests as prioritized by business for live applications under responsibility and provide IT inputs
·        Assist L1/L2 support in resolving production issues.
Technical Documentation
·        Assist in preparation and maintenance of technical documents (PAD, GAD, Code Checklist and other standard documents)
Co-ordination and communication
·        Coordinate with other developers and business analysts as needed to deliver solutions on time and with good quality
·        Coordinate with Information Security, Infrastructure and IT Ops teams
·        Organize meetings on any technical topics under control as needed
·        Provide consultancy to managers, developers and other team members
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
·        Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
