Job summary
Join a high-performing team supporting the Head of DAR PF & Rail (EMEA) in originating, structuring, and syndicating loans and private debt (bonds, notes, etc.) for specialist project finance/ Rail /core+ infrastructure assets, primarily for issuers in the following sectors: Infrastructure, Rail, Power & Renewables and Resources & Industry. You'll work across the full deal lifecycle, collaborating with sales and advisory teams to deliver financing solutions to banks and institutional investors.
We’re looking for someone with strong motivation, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. In return, you’ll gain exposure to high-impact deals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with real opportunities to grow.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate closely with senior team members, investor relations, origination teams, and loan distribution to:
- Support Origination: Assist EIG/Rail and senior bankers (and other teams as needed) in originating deals.
- Ensure Marketability: Help structure and price PF loans and private placements to align with market demand.
- Coordinate Syndication: Manage or support the syndication and distribution of primary market PF and Rail transactions and assist with secondary market sales.
This includes private debt in loan or structured private placement formats (loans, bonds, or notes).
- Contribute to early-stage deal preparation, including BOMs and pitch materials.
- Support the ERA Advisory team and coordinate with sector leads.
- Provide market insights, investor feedback, and comparable deal analysis.
- Assist in investor engagement, including soundings, Q&A, and credit processes.
- Help develop and execute syndication strategies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and contribute to key documentation (term sheets, mandate letters, DD reports).
- Prepare and manage syndication materials (teasers, sales notes, invite letters).
- Coordinate the syndication process through to final hold and secondary distribution.
- Maintain status reports, lead bookrunner calls, and support allocation processes.
- Draft closing memos and secondary selldown strategies.
- Ensure accurate deal registration for league table credit.
- Provide cross-sector support (e.g., Aviation, Shipping, Real Estate) as needed.
2. To support from time-to-time other senior members of the DAR Syndicate and sales teams.
3. Documentary and reporting tasks
- Internal and external reporting.
- Comparable research and database maintenance
- League table reporting

- Based in London, but some travel in connection with assigned deal/ investor coverage
