Job summary

We are seeking a motivated Trainee to support our Corporate Sales team. In this role, you will assist with daily operational tasks, client documentation, and market data tracking. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced Global Markets environment.

 

Key responsibilities

Strategy and Business Planning

  • Assist in providing prompt market updates to clients to help identify daily flow business opportunities.
  • Support the team in maintaining existing customer relationships and preparing documentation for credit lines.
  • Support the execution of daily flow transactions under the close supervision of permanent staff.
  • Monitor economic and financial data affecting marketed products to build market awareness.
  • Carry out daily operational and administrative tasks to support the Corporate Sales team.

 

Management and Reporting

  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Corporate Sales and the team on assigned tasks and progress.
  • Attend team meetings to learn market strategies, observe idea exchanges, and receive administrative updates.

 

Control & Risk Management

  • Assist in checking that clients are suitably classified under FSCMA and properly cleared by Credit, Legal, and Compliance before trading.
  • Learn and assist with daily trade monitoring procedures for counterparty risk.
  • Develop an understanding of the financial and operational risks associated with banking transactions.

 

Communication

  • Maintain professional communication and follow up with clients.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree. (Engineering, Math, Economics, or Financial subjects preferred)

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years

Experience

  • Candidates who have completed all graduation requirements and are available to start work from August.
  • Candidates with less than one year of post-graduation work experience.

Required skills

  • Strong communication skills in both English and Korean. (written and verbal)
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under high pressure.

Languages

NATIVE Korean, Fluent in English
