Job summary

Summary

Within the network of International Desks abroad (whose head is located in Paris with CACIB/Pole ETI), the delegation Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong, offers to the corporate clients of Credit Agricole group (mainly Regional banks, LCL, DBI, Ca Italia …) advisory and / or banking solutions through CACIB or partner banks.

Key Responsibilities

Services to clients

  • Provide banking or non-banking information and guidance to customers
  • Provide banking solutions: account openings, cash management, financings, trade finance products, GMD services …
  • Support the setting up of subsidiaries in the APAC region
  • Exceptionally, provide information on identity and bank information, tracking of lost payments, fraud prevention, assistance to individuals (account openings, various information…)

Services to CA Group entities

  • Provide advisory services related to local regulation, business environment, key actors…
  • Interact with the Regional banks, LCL, DBI, CA Italia…to set up commercial actions/plan related to their customers or prospects mainly small and midcap corporates
  • Participate in seminars, conferences, public or private events (e.g with Chamber of commerce and Industry), Team France … in France and abroad
  • Provide assistance to the organization of local missions of board of Directors, Business Line Clubs

Relations with CACIB and local service providers

  • Interact with CACIB business lines to provide a large range of banking services
  • Ensure a proper monitoring in terms of credit or operational risks in coordination with APAC RPC organization
  • If needed, search banking partnerships to complement the CACIB offer
  • Maintain a network of local service providers : law offices, accountants, corporate services companies, Altios, Team France Export …
  • Ensure an efficient coordination with MNC APAC teams

Commercial Banking

  • Oversee the client portfolio in Hong Kong (direct responsibility), Mainland China, India and Singapore
  • Enlarge our client basis in Asia
  • Contribute to the budget process and follow up performance KPI, reports and analysis
  • Manage functionally the International Desks in India, China, Hong Kong and Singapore

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, Hong Kong Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.

Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

As a Manager, to be responsible for the implementation of internal systems and controls and ensuring staff adhere to requirements.

Languages

Good written and oral English and French, Mandarin would be an advantage
