Job summary
Manage Middle Office teams to ensure that the daily activities are processed, settled and delivered smoothly and efficiently on all perimeters covered.
Lead projects and conduct reviews of processes to further optimize Productivity, Quality and Security
Pay attention to potential operational risk and work on preventive measures.
Introduce new measures to automate work processes and in response to market changes using automation tools.
Work towards a zero operational error environment.
Engages in direct customer contact to ensure quality and timely services in transactions processing and inquiries are provided.
Recommend on resource allocation to achieve operation efficiency, participate to recruitment and all Human Capital actions for CMM.
Ensure the management of the teams (animation, recruitment, trends, definitions of goals, appraisal, training. Ensure strong team cohesion and implement Human Capital actions for your perimeter.
Maintain high level of co-ordination between regional middle offices.
Participate to global, regional and local projects such as new information systems, new activities development, innovative solutions etc…
Ensure the change management related to various transversal projects and actions plans defined
Propose actions or processes reviews to improve efficiency and security of trades processing
Ensure KPI/KRI are produced and duly commented to the management and partners
Develop effective reporting to the Head of Capital Market Operations and the Global head of Middle-Office.
Develop a strong functional link with all other CMO teams interacting with them to ensure a trusted and smooth relation.

Candidate criteria
Minimal education level
Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Post Graduate or equivalent
Level of minimal experience
11 years and more
Experience
Minimum 15-18 years’ experience in Capital Markets Operations, especially in Middle office activities, Fees & Brokerage invoice processing & Reconciliation activities
Minimum 10 years’ experience in management
Required skills
Good hands-on knowledge of Capital Markets and related operations
Good understanding of the processing of Capital Markets Operations and its organization
Experience in Transformation in Operations
Excellent Risk awareness (especially operational risk)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & and automation tools, e.g. SQL, Alteryx, PowerBi etc.
