Job summary
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Latin America franchise in the origination, pricing, structuring, distribution, closing, and execution of syndicated and bilateral Corporate, project finance, and trade/commodity finance transactions.
- Prepare offers, pitches, market updates, and term sheets, working closely with the metier.
- Prepare and summarize comparable transactions, and analysis of market data; primary point person to maintain comparable database.
- Prepare syndication strategies, market reads, and underwriting opinions.
- Prepare post-closing documents including, but not limited to, fee memos and closing memos.
- Submit league table credit to third-party providers and confirm that appropriate credit was received by CACIB.
- Assist in loan syndication/distribution in the primary market and/or in the secondary market (as needed), as well as various distribution tools, including but not limited to, CRI, synthetic securitization, and asset rotation.
- Participate in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of legal term sheets, commitment documents, and credit documents in liaison with external and internal legal counsels.
- Support the Head of LATAM - CLF/DAR in various other roles, including as Head of Latin America, in-charge of Corporate Clients and Primary Coverage Officers (PCOs).
- Provide any other support and assistance as requested by the team.
Key Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in banking
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
- Some accounting/finance/economics coursework
