Job summary
Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (“CA-CIB”) is seeking to hire an Associate/Senior Associate for its Transportation Group (Structured Finance Division). CA-CIB is a worldwide leader in aircraft and rail financing and has received many awards over the last 15 years. The team works with airlines, lessors, and rail companies based in North America and Latin America to structure and arrange tailor-made financing solutions across a wide range of products and markets.
The candidate should demonstrate a proactive disposition with strong interpersonal skills and have at least 3 to 7 years of experience in corporate credit analysis and financial modelling with a strong deal execution track record. Experience in airline and rail finance a plus, but not required. The candidate will work in a dynamic team environment and interact closely with the Group's Transaction Manager, Relationship Managers, and analysts, as well as other groups involved in the origination process, such as the credit risk department, back/agency/middle office, external lawyers, and other product groups, including Loan Syndications, Securitization, IRD/FX, Debt Capital Markets, etc. Primary responsibilities of the candidate will include actively supporting the origination of new financing transactions as well as performing portfolio management tasks, including preparing annual reviews of the transactions already in portfolio.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Work collaboratively with the applicable Relationship Manager and the transaction team responsible for the origination and execution of structured financings.
Preparation of complete, thorough, and insightful credit analyses on airlines, aircraft leasing companies, and railcar leasing companies for new transactions and annual reviews.
Preparation of financial models for corporate projections and asset specific financings.
Preparation of client pitch books/presentations.
Compliance/KYC/covenant monitoring.
Complete knowledge of the bank's systems and procedures.
Support Relationship Managers' marketing efforts.
Active interaction with the credit department, back office, and middle office personnel, as well as other product groups (such as Debt Capital Markets, Loan Syndications, Interest Rate Derivatives, etc.).
Active involvement in entire deal process from term sheet to documentation to closing.
SPECIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS: Travelling as required.
