Divisional Overview
The Risk division of Credit Agricole Combined US Operations (“CUSO”) participates in the reinforcement and implementation of Credit Agricole SA Group risk management standards while ensuring US specificities and requirements are properly taken into account.
The CUSO Risk team manages a range of risk capabilities to ensure US and Group leadership have a comprehensive and aggregate view of the US risk profile, leads enterprise-wide risk management practices across the US entities and reports to the US Risk Committee on significant risk exposure and related controls, changes to risk appetite, risk management strategies, results of risk management reviews, and emerging risks.
Job Summary
- CUSO EWRM interacts closely with all areas of Risk, as well as with various groups across the US entities, Head Office and Group.
Responsibilities
CUSO ERM Framework
- Support the Head of EWRM and work with the broader team to execute strategic initiatives as the CUSO ERM program expands.
- Drive continuous enhancement and oversight of the CUSO Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework, ensuring processes are incorporated in 1LoD and 2LoD processes.
- Lead and coordinate enterprise-level risk processes including risk Identification of Top ad Emerging Risk program.
- Lead the governance of CUSO risk management policies and provide coordination and input for transversal risk policies and procedures, including CUSO EWRM framework and Risk Appetite Framework
- Ensure consistency and effective integration of risk management processes across the organization.
Regulatory Watch-Change Management
- Lead regulatory monitoring activities related to risk management, providing analysis and guidance on the impact impacts of new or amended Laws, Rules, Regulations, and supporting their translation into policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update inventory of Laws, Rules and Regulation, and regulatory requirements relevant to risk management activities.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends and drive the change management process to ensure appropriate implementation across CUSO risk programs.
- Support high priority regulatory initiatives and ad hoc projects, including solution development, and stakeholder communication.
- Continuously monitor relevant regulations (new, existing, and amended) and regulatory obligations through the regulatory Watch process
