US Analyst Program Summary

The U.S. Analyst Program offers recent college graduates the opportunity to actively participate in investment banking within a high-profile department at Crédit Agricole CIB. Analysts receive the tools and mentorship needed for professional growth and career advancement. The program runs for a maximum of two years, with the goal of converting top performers into full-time employees.

 

Job Overview

The Energy and Real Assets team originates and structures complex financings with deep expertise across energy, infrastructure, transportation, real estate, and lodging sectors. As part of the Energy & Infrastructure Group, the US Analyst will be a support of the Project Finance Lending team in New York City covering the North America region through support of new deal opportunities (Origination) and occasionally monitoring of existing assets. The candidate will overall support the senior team members in their efforts to pitch for business, formulate proposals, process credit applications & close financings.

 

Responsibilities

  • Play a role on deal teams for transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors (including solar, wind and battery power generation projects as well as infrastructure projects) by supporting deal team members.
  • Support the deal team to run profitability analysis for deal opportunities and assist with internal tools required during a Credit process.
  • Support preparation of credit applications, including transaction descriptions, key feature summaries, and risk analysis
  • Support research, analysis, and preparation of pitches and other materials to proactively understand client needs and originate new business
  • Conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses
  • Support KYC, client onboarding, and compliance efforts

Minimum Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate with 0–1 years of experience in Finance or a related field
  • Candidate must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must not require visa sponsorship for U.S. employment now or in the future (OPT, F-1, etc.)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with energy and infrastructure projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
  • Familiarity with financial modeling
  • Ability to analyze and summarize information
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work autonomously

 

Compensation: $100,000
