Job summary

** This position will be under the Employee Referral Program in Hong Kong.

 

Summary
Manage the IT infrastructure (Storage, Servers and Database) to ensure the smooth operation of the computer systems applications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures production environments uptime
  • Manages and allocates the resources within the IT infrastructure and production for the provision of quality services. To perform diagnostic, root cause analysis and problem solving of Windows Servers 2016/2019, Linux server , Citrix XenApps , HPE Simplivity, VMware ESX
    server, HK Clearing House Faster Payment System, HPE SAN storage etc.
  • Assists in implementation of new systems/upgrades and provides for necessary staff training
  • Evaluates and introduces new third parties’ products to improve efficiency, effectiveness and achieve cost saving
  • Analyses alternatives vendors, negotiates with and selects vendor for IT equipment and services
  • Provides quality advice, and problem management
  • Follows up IT audit recommendation
