Missions

You will join Crédit Agricole CIB Canada as a KYC Officer.

 

As part of referential Management (GRM) division, you will support KYC operations for corporate/ institutional clients, contributing to the Onboarding/Review of clients. You will ensure that KYC Due Diligence packages are completed in a timely manner and in full compliance with local regulations and the Bank's global procedures. Beyond core KYC work, you will also contribute to data analytics initiatives, process improvement projects, and the development and maintenance of KPI dashboards.

 

Your concrete missions will be the following

  • Analyze client profiles to determine the required KYC information in accordance with internal procedures
  • Review existing documentation and obtain updated documents when changes are identified
  • Collect and source client information from public and approved external sources
  • Analyze collected data, perform sanity checks, and liaise with internal partners to resolve missing information or documentation
  • Perform name screening and background checks against sanctions, PEP, and adverse media databases
  • Input client data and upload documentation into the KYC system accurately and within defined timelines
  • Liaise with quality controllers and compliance teams to address any issues or escalations
  • Ensure proper procurement, maintenance, and timely update of KYC documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations and internal procedures; complete all mandatory training as required
  • Contribute to data analytics efforts to support operational reporting and decision-making within the GRM team
  • Build, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards to monitor team performance and KYC pipeline activity
  • Identify and support process improvement initiatives, proposing solutions to increase efficiency and quality of KYC operations

 

To be eligible for a VIE:

  • Be less than 28 years old
  • Be graduated of Master Degree

You are postgraduate of a Master Degree from an University, Business School or Engineering School with a specialization in Finance, Law, Banking or equivalent fields.

Niveau d'expérience minimum

0 - 2 ans

Expérience

A previous experience with exposure to KYC, AML/CFT, or Compliance is a strong plus.

Compétences recherchées

Hard Skills

  • Experience in research, data analysis, and document review is valued.
  • Exposure to process improvement or reporting/dashboard projects is a plus.
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or CAMS certification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations across multiple jurisdictions is a plus.
  • Good command of the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel advanced, Python, or equivalent) is a strong plus
  • Experience building or maintaining dashboards and KPI reporting is a plus
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
