Summary of the position:
Directly reporting to CCS Management, the head of PCS is in charge of the Project Management Office of CCS department. CCS Department is a Software Engineering Unit strong of 400 IT Professionals ranging from Business Analyst, Software Engineers, DevOps Specialists, Architects and Project Managers. The Project Management Office is in charge of:
- Globally monitoring and reporting the budget consumption on the projects managed by the department as well as the overall internal budget of the department.
- Enable and support the sourcing strategy of the department and partner with Human Resources in order to follow-up and report the workforce evolution compare to the targets.
- Enable, plan and lead transformation initiatives in the department.
- Design, Build and Deploy Quality Assurance practices within the department.
Main responsibilities:
Global monitoring and reporting of budget consumption
• Contribute to the department overall budget consumption follow-up and monitoring.
• Plan yearly budget for the department in coordination with CCS management.
• Consolidate and build a yearly staff plan in coordination with CCS management.
• Monitor and Plan the yearly blend in coordination with CCS management.
Overall Projects follow-up
• In coordination with Section Heads, Team Heads and Project Managers, ensure a timely monitoring and reporting of the projects cost consumptions.
Sourcing Strategy follow-up
• In full coordination with HR, enable, support, monitor and report the sourcing strategy of the department in terms of workforce, diversity and skillsets.
Continous improvement and transformation
• As part of the CCS Management team, identify, design, plan and execute improvements and transformation in order to improve the global efficiency and supervision of the department.
Manage PCM team
• Ensure team’s activities are in adherence to bank’s standards and norms.
• Ensure the processes applied are in adherence to the Department operational model.
• Manage the team members and ensure their career development as well as proper coaching in a sustainable and resilient manner.
• Hire, train and develop the team.
• Plan and manage the adequacy of skillsets and capacity versus the business roadmap and budget.
• Evaluate staff knowledge & skills and recommend training.
• Review and conduct appraisals for the team members.
• Facilitate staff mobility and career development.
• Human capital Management - recruitment, career progression planning, Team Engagement and motivation, Coaching & Mentoring.
• Incorporate Continuous improvement process and culture on projects management & implementations, run and cost/budget.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:
Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Officer.
· Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
