Job summary

Position Summary

Responsibility for:

(a) monitoring of credit risk anomalies as organized by Head Office through the credit risk tools

(b) production of relevant credit risk reports

(c) reconciliation of risk and accounting

(d) certification control (compliance of documentation signed with the credit committee decisions)

(e) reliability of master agreement data on market operations, and

(d) internal and external relevant credit risk reporting

Main responsibilities

1) Management of the Credit Monitoring & Reporting (CMR) team in Singapore covering Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Brunei.

2) Responsible for day-to-day credit risk management of the Branch, i.e.

  • To ensure the established policies and control procedures of CACIB are implemented and complied with,
  • To monitor the use of risk limits and ensure that quantifiable risks are within approved limit structure, and
  • To ensure risks are properly measured and promptly alert management of any adverse situation.

 3) Review credit documents and guide documentation team in CMR.

 4) Participate in the committees/meetings including but not limited to:

  • Local Risk Permanent Control (RPC) Team Head meeting
  • Credit Risk Committee
  • New Products and Activities Committee
  • Support Function Committee
  • Permanent Control eCommittee
  • Anomalies Meeting

 5) Supervision CMR role in the validation of ISDA Request Forms/executed ISDA documentation in Legal Data Base.

 6) Assist the Branch Management to prepare the Committee Strategy Portfolio (CSP/CRP) and Portfolio Review statistics in coordination with RPC AP and RPC Financial Sovereign Country (RPC FSP) Head Office in particular and provision of brief summary and write-up of the portfolio under Singapore Branch’s perimeter upon request.

7) Participation in studies, surveys and projects from CMR AP/HO as well as from the local regulator.

8) Handling of audit matters vis-à-vis internal and external auditors
