Summary
Credit Agricole CIB is seeking a Sr. Vice President or Director to work within Equity Capital Markets (“ECM”) group on the origination and execution of convertible bond / equity-linked transactions. The ECM team is part of the broader Global Investment Banking (GIB) division and works on equity and equity-linked transactions for Credit Agricole CIB’s corporate and sponsor clients. The candidate would have at least 8+ years of capital markets experience including direct deal experience originating, structuring, and executing equity-linked / convertible bond offerings. The candidate will be instrumental in the further development and expansion of CA-CIB’s global equity-linked franchise.
This candidate will lead and work closely with coverage bankers and other product teams on convertible opportunities with our institutional clients. The position requires strong leadership qualities, entrepreneurial mindset, and team-oriented approach to drive business; Ability to lead in the effective execution of transactions as well as in the production of new business efforts; and ability to manage many projects with different team members.
Responsibilities
- Lead the origination, structuring and execution efforts of equity-linked and convertible transactions in the US; assume responsibility for the various phases of project and/or transaction
- Work closely with clients and internal partners on equity-linked transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including structuring, pricing, due diligence and drafting session for equity-linked offerings
- Work closely with internal teams to develop ideas for clients and drive new business for the equity-linked and broader ECM franchise
- Responsible for pitchbook materials, information memoranda, management presentations, and oversee work performed by junior ECM bankers
- Hold regular teach-ins on equity-linked products internally
- Key involvement in further development of the ECM franchise globally and in the US
- Work closely with other ECM colleagues and assist in originating other ECM and/or structure equity products
- Supervision and mentorship of junior resources
Salary Range: $250k-$300k
