About your team
The Risk & Permanent Control (RPC) team is responsible for assessing transaction risks for financial institutions, insurances and asset managers independently. The team is also responsible for assigning risk ratings and ensures our analytical standards are following regulatory expectations. You will be fully integrated in an international team of 9 employees.
Your missions
You will act as a Credit Analyst / Representative for Financial Institutions (German, Austrian & Swiss banks, insurances, asset managers and public entities) applying the general policies defined by RPC-FSP Paris (Financier, Souverains & Pays), in order to manage the credit risk of financial institutions in those countries. Your main responsibilities include analyzing new and existing clients, as well as monitoring ongoing risk of active clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise requests for credit limits for financial institutions in the area
- Oversee the legal and credit functions when related to the credit issues on financial institutions
- Perform credit or transaction analysis for clients and make recommendations of credit limits and ratings to the financial institutions' credit committee
- Operate the credit approval of these requests in credit committees and participate in them
- Take ownership in the monitoring of ongoing risk of existing clients and make recommendations for actions when needed
- Work with control partners as KYC team and coordinate the suitability of transactions
- Be responsible for entity management reporting to the Head Office in Paris
- Collaborate closely with our Financial Institutions Group Coverage, as well as our capital markets team and other business lines

Minimal education level
Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Academic qualification / Speciality
Global Bank specific education and continuing theoretical qualification

Experience
Min. 5-7 years of relevant experience in the credit area (risk management) with a focus on Financial Institution clients (Banks / Insurances/ Asset Managers)
Required skills
Extensive know-how in the credit-fact-treatment as well as in the business analysis
Risk consciousness and in-depth market knowledge
Product and Management skills to be acquired
Ability to work autonomously and to cooperate across disciplines
Team spirit
Technical skills required
Very good MS-Office skills, especially Excel & Powerpoint
Languages
Fluent spoken and written English, as well as basic German
