Job summary

Position Overview

The ISAP-ITS Citrix-VDI RUN manager will report hierarchically to the Head of Section – Workplace service RUN in Singapore. He / She will have to ensure that their team provides a good level of service to End users and is also responsible for handling the expertise in the team located in Singapore. His/her main missions consist of:

·         Provide oversight to all EUS activities to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and availability.

·         Serve as point of escalation on major incidents

·         Effective engagement with technical peer, Service managers, Architect and project teams on technology roadmap and projects.

Responsibilities Overview

He / She is responsible for:

  • Ensuring the IT Production activities regarding his perimeter are rightly performed by the team, complying with defined norms, standards, processes and procedures.
  • Defined KPI is met on a day-to-day basis for Incident, problem, change management etc.
  • Managing his budget (once a year) and forecast (monthly).
  • Monitoring and pushing for improvements for improving team productivity.
  • Having a smooth relationship with Partners, Vendors, Paris, UK and ASIA teams.
  • Ensuring continuous improvement activities are driven in run team.
  • Coaching and development of partner resources to meet the objectives.
  • Maintaining good relation amongst peers and ensuring best practice are shared transversally across technologies.
  • Must be available and able to drive/manage any complex or high severity incidents that occur within the scope of his role.
  • Engagement in Projects and project deliveries.
  • Drive and Deliver Root cause for any high severity issues.
  • Focus on automation and optimum use of the team to improve efficiency.
  • Focus and ensure to bring in more projects and work on projects for CA-CIB
  • Responsible for providing direction, proactive and reactive support services to maintain the availability and reliability of systems infrastructure in accordance to the SLA

Must be able to work in Paris business hours and to attend calls post working hours whenever required (rotation in morning shift is possible for once a month)

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Degree in related field

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

·         Minimum 10~12 years of experience in managing an Enterprise Citrix environment, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure preferably in financial sector.

·         Microsoft and Citrix certification such as MSCE and CCEE is preferred.

·         Strong experience with Xenapp 6 / 6.5 , Xendesktop 5.5 /7.5 in a Windows 2003 / 2008 environment. Good to have the latest version experience as well.

·         In-depth working knowledge of the Windows environment with at least 3~5 years of Windows administration experience and a strong understanding of network concepts.

Required skills

·         Customer service oriented, able to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment

·         Excellent communication, interpersonal and logical skills

·         Must be self-motivated and should demonstrate keen attention to detail and possess the ability to work autonomously

Technical skills required

·         In-depth working knowledge of Altiris deployment tools, Appsense and Visual Basic, Powershell scripting.

·         Prior working experience with Virtualization, VDI management, App-V and application packaging will be highly advantageous.
