Job summary

We are seeking an ambitious and analytical recent graduate to join our team as a Graduate Global Trade & Commodity Finance Intern. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with a strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field, who are eager to start a career in the finance sector, specifically focusing on trade and commodity finance. The role involves assisting with the origination, structuring, documentation, and execution of Global Trade & Commodity Finance products and services to Corporate and Financial Institutions.

The main skills required for this role include strong analytical abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills, which are crucial for effectively supporting the team and interacting with clients.

 

 

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

 

  • Assist with the origination and marketing of Global Trade & Commodity Finance (GTC) Products such as Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Bonds/Guarantees, and more.
  • Support GTC UK with marketing materials, client presentations, credit papers, and other tasks to ensure timely delivery of GTC products.
  • Assist with the pricing quotation process, including liaising with clients to understand transaction details and coordinating with internal stakeholders to provide approved quotes.
  • Support the team during client calls and meetings, providing necessary documentation and ensuring all client interactions are recorded.
  • Promote business with Corporates and Financial Institutions, liaising with the CA-CIB network.
  • Support the implementation of transactions and monitor monthly income against the budget.
  • Ensure compliance with budget, financial control, audit, and regulatory requirements.
