Summary


This role of Rapid Application Development (RAD) Developer is to assist Front Office Credit and EGB desks in
creating and supporting Tactical applications and projects.
He/she will assist in projects meant to be delivered in a rapid manner in order to improve business efficiency.
He/she will also be at the first contact point for Credit and EGB trading desks to provide immediate trading floor
support.


Key Responsibilities
• Use of an existing Excel Add-In (ExcelDNA) from Risk & Pnl Excel spreadsheets in order to deliver
new custom and flexible views to the business (in Excel – and potentially later in Web)
• Suggest new features to be developed in the Excel Add-In and participate in their development
• Support the trading desk and deliver tactical solutions
• Provide documentation of the commando tools

2. Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
• Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not
limited to, the Hong Kong Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued
from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of
Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
• Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all
mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Financial front office IT support or development position experience

Ability to work under high-pressure and ensure the user expectation
Ability to propose and lead initiative
Innovative with the capacity to self-create new optimisation projects
Fluent in English

Technical skills required

Technical skills: development competencies (Excel/VBA, SQL, C#)
Functional skills: knowledge of financial derivatives would be a plus.
