Job summary

Join our dynamic Communications team at a leading international bank and gain invaluable experience in shaping how we connect with clients and employees across Europe and the Middle East. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Head of Communications for Europe (excluding France and Germany) and the Middle East, supporting strategic communication initiatives across external channels, events, and internal engagement. Ideal candidates will have knowledge in event management, project management, and social media engagement, coupled with a proactive and adaptable approach.

 

Key responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in various communications actions, both online and offline, and provide support to ad hoc and ongoing communications projects
  • Contribute to content creation and management for social media and the corporate website, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Organize and manage internal and external events, including venue searches, cost estimates, event proposals, and logistics
  • Coordinate internal communication plans and campaigns, create content for regional newsletters, intranet, and other communications materials
  • Analyse engagement and effectiveness of communication strategies and suggest improvements
  • Manage the department's general mailbox and provide support across all communications initiatives for the region.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum of 2:1 or equivalent

Experience

  • Experience in event management, project management, and social media engagement is desirable

Required skills

• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
• Strong competencies in adaptability, proactive problem-solving, and working under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Technical skills required

• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Languages
