Job summary

This role is UK-based but working closely with the CACEIS Sales Support & RFP teams in Paris, Luxembourg, Amsterdam and the various CACEIS Branches. The candidate will work directly with the Business Development, Marketing and Relationship Management personnel. The role will also require direct engagement with the local operational and product teams.

Externally the role will be required to work with clients, potential clients and consultants. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation, completion and management of eligible UK RFP’s (requests for proposals) and RFI’s (requests for information), or other documents issued by clients, prospects and consultants requiring detailed and accurate description of organisation products and services, for delivery within defined timeframes.
  • Complete and manage Annual Global Consultant RFI’s, for consultants based in UK.
  • Build and develop network of individuals throughout the organisation to ensure maximisation of the sources of correct, relevant and verifiable information to incorporate into the relevant documents.
  • Maintenance of the RFP database in order to streamline the RFP process with standard approved answers

Individual Responsibilities

Preparation Phase (client/prospect RFP’s)

  • Understand the needs and expectations of the client/prospect – working alongside the BD’s responsible for the opportunity
  • Identify competitors and conduct competitive analysis
  • Analyse the client’s organisation and their decision makers/influence networks
  • Draw up action plan to close any gaps identified

Response Phase (client/prospect RFP’s)

  • Organise a kick-off meeting to notify the Deal Team about the RFP, describe the client/prospect and its context, challenges, timeline, etc.
  • Schedule regular briefings to take stock of the completion rate, unanswered questions, risk, etc.
  • Oversee the completeness of responses, draw from the standard content database in the RFP tool and call on the network of contributors

  • Understand the scoring mechanism and expectations of the consultant (attend meetings)
  • Identify competitors and conduct competitive analysis
  • Draw up action plan to close any gaps identified

  • Organise a kick-off meeting to notify the Deal Team about the RFP, describe the consultant and its context, challenges, timeline, etc.

Experience

  • Experience completing and managing RFP’s/RFI’s
  • An excellent knowledge of the finance industry in particular the investor services sector
  • Client facing experience (ideally including C level)
