Job summary

Role description
The candidate will be under the responsibility of the FO/BO Product (Front-Office/Back-Office Product) head of section in ISAP for Capital Markets IT.
Candidate is expected to be a source of proposals for improving the practices of the support teams and quality management. The candidate is expected to be the subject matter expert in back-office IT support with hands-on level assignment to perform IT support activities and mentor/grown other team members.
Candidate has a business facing role by providing his expertise in business need impact analysis, solution proposal and rough estimates.

Main responsibilities as IT Back Office Expert Lead
Practices and knowledge management
· Streamlining process and practices across each IT BO teams
· Drafting & Reinforcing Best Practices specific to IT back-office, aligned with RCT best practices
· Provide a standard skills matrix model and target level each IT BO teams. Revisit frequently the target and propose training/coaching initiatives to support the skilling up of the team, in alignment with each team leader
· Propose standard of the knowledge base management for the applications and processes. Contribute with calypso expertise in the KB and ensure quality and accuracy of the KB
· Create and lead a community of IT Back Office Support experts and be in charge of its animation

Expertise and support role for business users
· Provide functional and technical expertise on Calypso as our main vendor for back office systems, and develop as well the expertise on the other platforms
· Support business users (trader, risk manager, market risk monitoring operator, back-office and middle-office analyst, market data administrator).
· Analyze and conduct impact analysis on problem and request that may lead to a project working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams
· Provide requirements to build team for bug fixing and continuous improvements. Ensure quality of daily, weekly and monthly regulatory reporting for all sites, by providing expertise L3 whenever necessary.
· Put in place the accurate trainings for Business to allow knowledge sharing and reduce number of daily requests from business to IT

Application monitoring responsibilities
· Work on improving the tools used by the teams to ease monitoring, incident detections, etc Work with the different team leaders of the FO/BO IT Division to propose synergy and “new-way-of-working”
· Supervise and monitor daily and monthly chains and handle user requests by working closely with project, infrastructure and production teams.
· Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly runs.
Incidents and Requests management (business users and other IT teams)
· In charge of coordinating Major Incidents impacting several teams

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Education & Work Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree and above in relevant specialties (IT, finance).

· Senior level experience (min. 12 years).

11 years and more


Qualifications and Profile

· The candidate should have 15+ years’ experience in support activity and exposure to capital markets Front-Office/Back-Office, with at least 10 years’ experience with CALYPSO as back office.

· CALYPSO: Workflows - trade, transfer, message, Task Station, Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliation, Confirmations, Clearing & Settlement, Regulatory Reporting, Repo and Collateral, Cash Management.

· Apex / Murex / Summit / Orchestrade and Kondor + knowledge is a plus

· Control M, ITRS Geneos monitoring, SQL, UNIX

· CI/CD tools

· strong analytical and problem solving skills

· pro-active mindset in security, incident preventive measures, improvement of the quality of service

· expert of the trade lifecycle and financial products (FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, Bond, Repo, Sec Lending, etc.)

· expert of post trade activities: trade management, confirmations, settlement, accounting and regulatory reporting
