Job summary
The Equity Investment Solutions (EIS) Desk in Hong Kong is looking for a motivated Trainee with appropriate skill set to support its development. The candidate must have deep knowledge of derivatives pricing theory as well as a strong mathematical background, be autonomous, disciplined, good communicator and have a team-oriented mind set.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily tasks of the desk, Risk metrics production and their monitoring
- Contribute to market data management
- Support in spreadsheet implementation / development / maintenance
- Carry out data mining and statistical studies Help with pricing equity derivative products
- Help with pricing equity derivative products
1. Communication:
Key Internal Contacts:
EIS traders in HK and HO, other GMD traders for hedging purposes, Structuring and sales teams.
All support functions (IT, MO, BO…)
Key External Contacts:
Inter-dealer brokers, pairs in other banks
2. Systems Used:
Tools used on the desk such as (not limited to): Sophis, internal pricing libraries and XL Add-ins, VFT, Risk Tool, Risk shaker etc.

Bloomberg
3. Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities:
Compliance with internal rules and procedures and all relevant regulations

Experience
Internship experiences in Derivatives / Options Trading or Structuring is an advantage
Required skills
• Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills, prior experience in capital markets products will be an advantage
• Strong communication and problem solving skills with ability to provide solutions
• Self-motivated and hardworking with a strong sense of commitment and responsibility
• Responsible, self-initiative, positive attitude, attentive to details & hardworking
Technical skills required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other PC applications
Languages
