Job summary

The intern will support the tax department in carrying out the daily activities of tax compliance, with a particular focus on the fulfillments related to VAT and others indirect taxes.

The candidate will have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the financial tax and in the management of related fulfillments, implementing its own capacity in analyzing data and tax law.

Specifically, the intern will have the opportunity to work with tax manager in the various activities carried out in tax department, including:

Monthly tax fulfillments;
Analysis of accounting data with tax impacts;
Archiving of documentation related to tax assessment and litigations;
Updating of tax news and tax deadline.
Management of tax software.

The experience will guarantee, among other things, the development of knowledge and skills related to data analysis, the use of the main Office applications (in particular Excel) and the elaboration of tax reports for internal use.

The main educational objectives and the skills to be acquired at the end of the internship period will include:

- Correct application of internal procedures within the Finance/tax department;

- Preparation of tax returns and related supporting documentations

- Analyzing and updating of tax law

- Checking and reconciliation of Vat data and related registers

- Checking and reconciliation of data related to tax on financial transaction (IFTT)

- Preparing monthly/ quarterly Vat communications  (intrastat/Esterometro)

- Knowledge of the branch management applications useful for checking / managing accounting entries.
