Job summary

Position

Overview: In a challenging and multicultural environment, the candidate will mainly provide expertise and leadership in Summit project and its related release management services. In coordination we the Summit team in our head office, he will ensure the successful deliverable of the summit release by his team, the efficiency of the operational model to be defined and fine tune over the time. He will take the lead for project lead from Asia and will operationally lead the relationship with the vendor, in coordination with the head office, who is in charge of the contract relationship.

 

Main responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be leading and contributing to projects related the maintenance and enhancement of the solution in collaboration with the business users, the developers and the IT support. This will cover the whole cycle from requirement gathering, specifications and testing until the delivery to production including the following responsibilities:

 

·         Liaise with IT business lines contacts for clarification and understanding of requirements.

·         Analyze functional impacts considering technical constraints with technical lead’s help

·         Prepare and present functional aspects of changes/evolutions to developers

·         Draft detailed functional specifications/users stories for developers, in line with general specifications or list of requirements provided by project manager / Business Analysts

·         Support the technical development team in any functional aspects.

·         Organize and keep up to date detailed functional documentation

·         Conduct continuous testing in development environment for development monitoring

·         Prepare and execute functional test cases for system verification

·         Analyze and/or solve functional problems in coordination with developers

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

·  Master’s degree in relevant specialities

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

· Intermediate to Senior level (5 to 10 years)

Required skills

Mandatory:

·         5 to 10 years of experience as a business analyst in a financial organization

·         Exposure to the Capital Markets system Summit as a preference or similar such as Murex, Calypso, Sophis, Front Arena, Kondor, Opics...

·         Thorough experience in functional testing and validation of development

·         Hands-on technical experience to be comfortable with Linux, scripting, data models and SQL

 

Technical skills required

Good to have

·         Experience in Financial IRD products and Capital Market Back-Office environments with a focus on Settlement, Accounting, Regulatory, Reconciliation…

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both team mates and management

·         Ability to convey clearly and concisely ideas in a concrete and coherent way.

·         Ability to easily communicate with multi-cultural team members

·         Experience in Summit Back Office system

·         Usage of tools such as MS Office / Sharepoint /Project / Visio, Jira, GIT

·         Understanding of UML
