Summary
- Assist in the execution of financing and debt advisory assignments in the Infrastructure sector, under the supervision of deal team leaders and other team members
- Assignments may be in connection with greenfield projects, expansion of existing projects, acquisition of existing discrete assets or refinancings
- Advice will be provided on raising finance from: international and regional/local syndicated bank markets, export credits, multilateral agencies, US capital markets and in some circumstances specialised Governmental institutions
- Advisory assignments are executed jointly with the relevant EIG arranging team with input from other product teams within the bank
Principal accountabilities
- Assist transaction team leaders in the execution of financing and debt advisory assignments, including financial modelling as well as discrete elements of the due diligence process and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of documentation (eg. teasers, info memos, term sheets)
- Assist in the development of financial models, undertake financial analysis, make presentations to clients on the financial modelling outcome, provide input into term sheets and ensure model alignment, lead model auditing with third party auditors
- Assist with the external lenders’ credit processes (eg. sensitivity analysis, handling of Q&A)
- Manage NDAs and release/reliance letters with lenders
- Liaise with other product groups within the bank as relevant (eg. syndications, capital markets, ESG)
- Support directors in their general sector-oriented business origination activities, including participation in marketing efforts and carrying out sector-specific research, as well as other commercial or administrative duties as assigned
- Prepare marketing material for presentation to clients
- Assist with updates for internal management reporting
ESSENTIAL:
MBA or equivalent
DESIRABLE:
CFA or accountancy degree
ESSENTIAL:
Experience in financial modelling including building of models for project / structured finance transactions and undertaking sensitivity analysis
Previous position in a financial environment (banks or similar)
Desirable:
Project finance advisory experience (preferably Infra sector knowledge)
