Missions

Key role in a dynamic, market leading team responsible globally for the Power & Utilities Sector, including renewable energies as part of the energy transition.  Requires constant engagement with the SFI network, Senior Management, Coverage, RPC and the Sector team, sharing expertise, contributing to evolving Sector strategy, advocating for and managing the Structured Finance / EIG project approval process, and taking primary responsibility for a number of key tasks. This is a high profile and demanding position that should attract high potential candidates seeking the next step in their career. The financial model is the quantitative heart of powering the energy transition, and the candidate must be ready to take absolute control of this critical function

Your Responsibilities

  • New transactions will generally be undertaken by a team, with team members reporting to a designated team leader.
  • In respect of new transactions, participation in the origination, analysis (including assessment of economic rationale, terms of contracts, pertinent allocation of risks and mitigating factors), negotiation, internal
    approval process, documentation and closing. As a key contributor, this job will entail direct responsibility for financial analysis, financial modelling, preparation of pitches and credit applications.
  • Responsibility for analysing project contracts, term sheets, due diligence and documentation, all of which contribute heavily to the financial modelling.
  • Experienced modelling skills required : being capable of running on FA mandates modelling directly and supervising juniors of the team in their first experiences of FA modelling. Being able to interact with both deal team clients and external advisors and propose adapted modelling solutions
  • Responsibility for coordinating the financial modelling aspects for project financing and creating, developing and maintaining financial models.
  • Participation in marketing efforts and sectorial/energy transition related research and other commercial or administrative duties as assigned.
  • All responsibilities related to transactions will involve client facing work.

(MBA or similar)

Familiarity with Project Finance

High experience of risk analysis and cashflow modeling

Knowledge of the energy transition
