Position

Risks and Finance department is responsible for development and maintenance of Compliance, Referentials, Counterparty/Credit Risks and Finance applications used by worldwide users, composed of the following divisions :

-       Compliance IT handles Business Compliance & Financial Security application portfolio, based on internal and regulatory models

-       Referentials IT covers Know Your Customer processes & Counterparty referential management

-       Credit Risk IT covers Front office Applications, Credit Decision Processing tool, Global Authorization Repository system and Default History Data Base

-       Counterparty Risk IT handles applications responsible for risk data collection, risk

-       calculation and monitoring for CACIB worldwide

-       Finance IT is responsible for applications handling financial accounting and liqauidity and yied financial risks for CACIB worldwide.

Risks and Finance applications are all in-house developments.

Main responsibilities

Section Technical Strategy

·         Lead Section technical strategy with Section Head

·         Define, propose and promote strategic technologies and methodologies

·         Define Quality Assurance framework to measure and improve strategy adoption

·         Report on Section Technical Strategy achievements

Section Technical Leadership

·         Propose, organize, lead technical solutioning and architecture

·         Ensure a good communication between stakeholders, Product Owners, BAs and development members.

·         Analyze technical constraints considering functional impacts

·         Perform design and code review for other team members

Section Innovation and communities & Technical Culture

·         Lead Section technical Innovation and Communities strategy

·         Define and lead Innovation & Communities initiatives to promote technical excellence and culture

·         Define and lead Department Skills upgrade strategy

·         Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, creative thinking, and cohesive team effort

·         Motivate and inspire team members by setting role model behavior

·         Help develop team members; help resolve dysfunctional behavior

·         Strive for team consensus and win-win situation

·         Ensure discussions and decisions lead toward conclusion

·         Encourage creativity, risk-taking, and constant improvement

·         Recognize team member accomplishments and outstanding performance

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Master or Bachelor’s degree in relevant specialities

Level of minimal experience

11 years and more

Experience

  • Candidates should have 12+ years experience in Software Engineering activities.
  • Agile and/or Iterative development lifecycles

  • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery

  • Basic understanding of Banking Risk domain

Required skills

·         Strong maturity in software development latest market practices

·         Strong analytic skills

·         Very good oral and written communication skills (English)

·         Fast reacting and autonomous, with a problem solving orientation.

·         Strives to deliver the solution in the most effective and timely manner

Technical skills required

·         Solution design using proven patterns, awareness of anti-patterns, performance benchmarking

·         Batch processing : Big Data, Fast Data, Micro-services ElasticSearch, Kafka

·         Web : Angular, ReactJS, JQuery, Node.Js

·         Data Science : Machine Learning, Business Intelligence

·         Cloud/Containerization : Docker, Kubernetes

·         DB – Oracle/MSSQL

·         CI/CD tooling - Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/Team City, Cucumber, Selenium

·         Source management –GIT, TDD using Junit, DBUnit, Jira/QC.
