Summary

Hong Kong Legal has responsibility for regional coverage of Crédit Agricole CIB’s Asia Pacific business. This position is part of the Capital Markets Legal function.

 

 


Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating master agreements (including ISDA, NAMFII, SAC, GMRA, GMSLA, etc) and ancillary documentation (including guarantees or other forms of credit support, capacity and authority documentation).
  • Liaison, coordination and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (including front and back office functions, internal credit, external counsel and in-house counsel).
  • Organise execution of completed agreements and ensuring counterparts’ signature and return of signed documents. 
  • Advise internal stakeholders on issues relating to relevant documentation.
  • Uploading and administration of electronic databases for legal documentation.
  • Production and management of reports and reporting to management.
  • Providing general support to Capital Markets Legal in Asia Pacific including administrative duties.
  • Ensuring robust legal risk control and compliance with CA-CIB’s policies and procedures.
  • Performing any other duties as may be requested by the Head of Capital Markets Legal, Asia Pacific.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Degree holder with strong academic background

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

Experience

Experience in the drafting and negotiation of ISDA, NAMFII, SAC and other ancillary documents (Guarantees, CSA, etc) and reviewing capacity and authority related documents.

 

Required skills

  • Acts with integrity and takes responsibility
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Strong interest in working with legal documentation

 

Technical skills required

  • Attention to detail and strong analytical, drafting and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and time management skills
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint

Languages

Good command of English and Chinese (Putonghua) is essential
