Job summary

The M&A Analyst will support the M&A team in originating and executing M&A transactions on the Italian market.

Main responsibilities and duties:

 

The M&A Analyst will be actively involved in the origination and execution of M&A transactions within the Italian market, for both Italian and international clients.

He/she will work in coordination with both Milan and Paris based professionals as part of an international team.

He/she will improve his/her knowledge of how to perform market and financial analysis, financial models and prepare effective presentations to clients and CA-CIB bankers.

The M&A Analyst will support the team members and his/her responsibilities will mainly cover the following activities:

- Assist the other members of the team in the origination and execution of M&A transactions

- Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and presentations to support marketing and execution initiatives

- Press monitoring and initial development of marketing ideas

- Supporting the execution of M&A transactions under the supervision of other team members

- Prepare financial modelling and valuation analysis

- Assistance in the preparation of transaction marketing documents (information memoranda and management presentations) and pitch-books.


When required, the Analyst will also be asked to attend client meetings in the context of the activities performed

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Excellent academic track-record, with focus on Finance and Business.

Level of minimal experience

Experience

Previous experience in M&A would be considered a plus
