Job summary

The resources will be responsible for Distribution of Corporate, and structured bank loans (leveraged, project finance, real estates, ...)

He/she will be part of the DOD Milan Team on Loan Distribution. He/she will work with Milan and EMEA Loan Distribution teams in pricing, structuring and distributing corporate and structured finance loans in Italy and contribute to maintain and improve the knowledge of the Italian syndication market.

Key Responsibilities:

1- To interact closely with the Corporate and also the Project Finance, LBO, Property, Telco and other CACIB origination teams (DOD & SFI), with the loan investor base and with the rest of the EMEA loan Distribution team in both a “syndicate” and distribution function, in order to i) assure CACIB’s transactions are structured and priced to be distributed into the loan investor market, and ii) distribute corporate, project finance, leveraged and structured loans originated by the Bank:- Coordinate with the deal teams and the other Distribution team members, especially the EMEA Loan Distribution sectors’ heads, from the earliest stage of transactions and contribute views on the pricing terms and other conditions; - Provide initial input to preparation of BOMs;- Provide market view and comparable deals on new transaction pricing; - Prepare syndication opinions in support of credit applications presented by originators, both for underwritings and as a benchmark commentary for club transactions; - Assist in the preparation / agreement of the syndication strategy with originators, other MLAs / Bookrunners and clients; - Contribute to the arrangement of banks meetings; - Review term sheets, mandate letters, loan documentation, DD inc. financial models and audit; technical, insurance and market reports etc. from a syndications view point; - Review and contribute to the drafting of Information Memorandum’s, Bank presentations and other syndication documents. - Prepare closing memorandum; - Distribute CACIB’s loan assets in the primary and secondary markets; - Interact with the Italian investor community through soundings and general market discussions to validate CACIB’s deal terms, structures and pricing; - Help prepare and attend “pitch” meetings with sponsors and clients; - Contribute innovative primary structuring ideas.

2- Contribute to CACIB’s Investor development:
- Develop strong relationships within the Italian investor community, alongside the DOD Distribution team, via calls, marketing events and meetings; - Deepen CACIB relationships with Italian investors by investigating regularly their potential interest for and promoting other loan asset classes; - Continue to enhance a strong and respected market profile in Italy within the loan community. - Regular calls and visits to Italian investors and banks (participants and/or arrangers)  to keep updated CACIB’s knowledge of their investment criteria, and investigate secondary trade (buy or sell) opportunities with them

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

- Solid financial background including corporate finance (modelling, financial analysis, rating and accounting) expertise.

- Strong advisory skills and the personality to develop the business.

- Advising clients (CEO’s and CFO’s) and corporate client-facing teams on various aspects to achieve optimal financing outcomes;

- Knowledge of and ability to talk across specific industry sectors.
