Job summary

The resource will join the LTFG Team (LBO / Acquistion Finance) in CACIB Milan and will work with the following key responsibilities:


  • Being responsible for implementing the LTFG strategy locally (setting direction, policies and guidelines) in conjunction with the local Head of LTFG;
  • Contributing in developing and maintaining profitable and sustainable relationships with the sector clients (companies, private equity funds, investors, …) and business partners (lawyers, advisors, experts, competitors, …) at the appropriate level;
  • Contributing to securing mandates for LTFG and achieving budgeted targets;
  • Pursuing and developing business opportunities with clients and liaising internally with the Head of LTFG Italy, HO LTFG and other teams of the bank (Corporate Finance, Coverage, Senior Banker, Syndication, …) as appropriate (including preparation of pitches & relevant marketing material);
  • Cross-selling the products and services of CACIB and CA S.A. Group entities;
  • Ensuring a good knowledge of the LTFG reference market,
  • Structuring of the LTFG transactions locally;
  • Ensure that adequate training and development is followed in order to be fully qualified to conduct role and maintain competence on an on-going basis;
  • Ensuring adequate due diligences on assets (visits) and legal/technical aspects are performed;
  • Preparing appropriate & detailed credit application proceeding (including financial modelling);
  • Managing the portfolio and identifying key risks and material changes in the credit quality of transactions and credit counterparts;
  • Ensure that necessary waiver requests, amendments, reviews are prepared and submitted to the Risk Department and métier on time;
  • Ensure that deals executions and legal and financial documentations are consistent with credit committee decisions;
  • Complying in timely manner with regulatory obligations, internal procedures and guidelines, including KYC procedures;
  • Reporting anomalies to the relevant local committees and to the Head Office.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

MSc in Finance/Economics/Engineering (financial stream)

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years


3-4 years in Investment Banking/ Mezzanine finance Fund, PE Fund in Structured Finance products (e.g. LBO, Project Finance, Mezzanine Finance, etc.)

Required skills

  • Strong analytical skills, engineering mindset.
  • Flexibility, curiosity, communication.

Technical skills required

Capacity of drafting credit papers, creating financial models.
