Job summary

Summary of the position:

The position requires a sound technical knowledge to ensure that the delivered solution answers the business’ needs – enhancements, maintenance tasks and bug fixes intended for the cash management system serving Corporate Clients.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop solutions for Big Data applications
  • Join and lead workshops to prepare detailed estimates
  • Join and lead grooming sessions to prepare technical design
  • Ensure Code quality, delivery and maintenance
  • Perform Unitary test and Code/Peer Reviews
  • Support Production – L3
  • Handle Technical test activities (including Integration and UAT)

Main duties details:

Technical Analysis, Development and Testing

·       Study, evaluate, understand and provide feedback on functional specifications

·       Convert User Stories to Technical Stories

·       Assist Functional team members in all development related activities

·       Perform non-functional testing

·       Conduct integration testing before handing over product for UAT

·       Provide technical support during UAT

·       Assist Technical Leader

Maintenance and support

·       Provide L3 technical support for applications under responsibility

·       Analyse and resolve tickets raised by end-users in production environment

·       Analyse enhancement requests as prioritized by business for live applications under responsibility and provide IT inputs

·       Build and repository management

·       Release Deployment management

·       Assist L1/L2 support to improve support quality over time

Technical Documentation

·       Prepare and maintain technical documents (Code Checklist and other standard documents)

Co-ordination and communication

·       Coordinate with other developers and business analysts as needed to deliver solutions on time and with good quality

·       Coordinate with Information Security, Infrastructure and IT Ops teams

·       Organize meetings on any technical topics under control as needed

·       Provide consultancy to managers, developers and other team members

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Secondary duties:

  • Ensure a technical watch and organize knowledge sharing within the team and junior developers
  • Serving as backup person for absent team member, when required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
