Summary

The Corporate Banking and Transverse system domain within GIT New York organization is in charge of the IT projects, applications support & maintenance of the following domains: Finance, Counterparty & Credit Risk, Commercial banking (Front and back office), Payments and SWIFT messaging and related compliance applications, transverse applications, as well as non-business applications (IT for IT, Administration, HR ...).

The department is looking to reinforce its Finance IT team with a talented hands-on application expert to cover Run/production support and projects/change of the following applications:  Oracle E-Business Suite, Financial data repository/datawarehouse, RDJ, Essbase, Business objects, Axiom, Finance reporting and downstream feeds.

Key Responsibilities

•      Get and keep internal knowledge of the US Finance information system both technically and functionally

•      Domain application technical and functional architecture

•      Run: Monitor production support in coordination with outsourced teams which include Applications monitoring, Incidents and problems management, Continuous improvement, end users supports

•      Change; Supervise both technical and business projects end to end;

•      Manage operational risks

Additional responsibilities

All activities should be conducted in following context:

•       Ensure the respect of policies and procedures of the Bank, as well as regulatory requirements.

•       Ensure accuracy and expediency of any activity related to audits.

•       Ensure that all system implementations meet US regulatory standards and are done in accordance with the Bank’s policies and procedures.

Salary range: $110,000 - $150,000

8 years’ experience in lead role on production support and developments within similar technical environment

Financial Services industry experience

Relevant experience in Financial system (Accounting and/or Financial reporting), Credit risk or Commercial banking

-Strong technical knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL, MQ Series, CFT and Control-M.

-Unix/Linux and Windows environments  

-Strong knowledge of Oracle databases
