This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Legal team in the London office.

Key Responsibilities

Provide paralegal assistance to the Legal Intelligence Group (LIG) relevant to the operations and business units of CACIB. You will be supporting the Head of LIG in the activities of LIG, including organising, attending and taking minutes for LIG team meetings/videoconferences, researching answers to legal or regulatory questions, co-ordination of information and reporting tables for LIG and providing para-legal support on projects within the scope of LIG.

Other important duties will be to support the Head of LIG in any representation of LGL at Project-level committees related to the NAP process, supporting the Head of LIG in the review and production of the Legal Paris-London quarterly newsletter and related horizon scanning.

Supporting the Corporate Legal team is very important. Some of your tasks will include, controlling the co-ordination of quarterly updates of equity participations of CACIB London and submission into the Credit Agricole database on such updates (ORION), through coordination of updates of reporting tables relevant to the Corporate Legal team, including the Paris-London matters list, the E-business and Digitalisation projects table and the bank-wide steering committee table.

Manage the relationship and co-ordination, with external provider of company secretarial services to CACIB London, maintaining schedules/records of documents such as the powers of attorney schedules and Corporate Legal Documents List. Other paralegal support and administration will be required to the Head of LIG from time to time.

• University graduate with a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent. Or an undergraduate currently during a course of study, predicted a minimum classification of 2:1 or equivalent
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, to take responsibility for the tasks to be undertaken, to seek appropriate and timely guidance in the event of uncertainty and to keep track effectively of tasks performed and
