Job summary

Main responsibilities:

Plan, design and implement end-to-end software solutions for the bank.
Initiate and drive technical transformation / innovation projects to ensure that applications /systems will be able to cope with market and business demands.
Work closely with Architects, Tech Leads, Developers, Business Analysts and Users in.Net, front-end SPA and Microsoft technology
Manage and improve the team capabilities including implementation of automation and newer development technologies.
Interact with product owners and technical experts to define solutions.
Drive the team to build an efficient CI/CD software factory.
Implement and refine project management processes in order to ensure projects success.
Organize and supervise all activities of PCH team and applications in scope.
People management for the staff members in PCH team.

Main duties details:
Organize and supervise all activities of CCS/PCH team

  • Report functionally to manager of GIT/ISAP/CCS/CMC Section
  • Ensure proper ramp-up and ramp-down of the team as per the Bank requirement
  • Manage budget and capacity allocation according to priorities communicated by functional manager
  • Act as Tech Lead/Architect for the team for technical rework and obsolesce projects
  • Ensure the applications adhere to the modern standards
  • Ensure applications are phased out from legacy tech and moved to new tech
  • Ensure modern dev-sec-ops standards are implemented in all the project/application build lifecycle

Design, implement, test, deploy, support and maintain applications under responsibility of PCH team

  • Ensure high-quality technical and functional design of the application stack.
  • Ensure a smooth end-to-end implementation of the PCH modules in charge using GIT best practices as well as overall GIT quality framework
  • Ensure the proper UAT and production support of the modules delivered
    Identify, evaluate and report risks and issues to ensure corrective and/or preventive measures are timely taken
  • Coordinate with other development teams of CMT program in order to ensure consistency across projects and modules.

Coordinate with other development teams in order to optimise the global roadmap and associated constraints

  • Ensure the good usage of chapters in order to smoothly circulate the information inside and outside the team.
  • Coordinate with the integration team in order to align strictly the development with the product owner’s priorities.
  • Manage and improve team capabilities
  • Ensure cohesion and commitment of the team on its missions
  • Evaluate staff members’ skill/knowledge and recommend training plan, organize staff mobility and staff career development as needed by PCH Projects
  • Make sure the team members observe and respect the Bank’s code of conduct and comply with Bank policies
  • Organize and perform coaching to the team members to ensure continuous improvement

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor and above in relevant discipline

  • You have designed and clearly understand the concepts like web services, SOA, REST, APIs, .Net Core, ASP.NET, Micro Frontends, Micorservices, SPA and Javascript frameworks.
  • You have worked with SQL and very good in understanding and improving Stored Procedures and migrate them when required

Required skills

Skills:

  • 10-15 years of overall IT experience with 5 years of experience in delivery of enterprise scale critical systems projects
  • 3 years of Team and People management
  • Excellent knowledge with .Net, Spring, Spring boot, AWS, Google Cloud or Azure, Dockers, Kubernetes, React, Kafka, Cassandra
  • Excellent knowledge withrelational databases, preferably SQLServer
  • Experience in Cash Management and Payment system
  • Experience in automated testing
  • Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders
    Practice in Agile delivery
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail
  • Good leadership skills
