Job summary
Summary
The Head of International Mobility and Immigration is responsible for managing all aspects relating to the compensation, benefits and resettlement for expatriates and international trainees.
Key Responsibilities
Primary point of contact for all international assignees, trainees and VIEs with global assignments. This includes strong rapport and relationship with HR counterparts in Head Office Paris.
Provide high quality customer service support during all phases of the international assignment process.
Manage and administer the benefits, payroll, compensation, taxes and immigration processes for a population of approximately 50 expatriates.
Liaise with Tax Specialists for the preparation of US tax returns and relevant tax reconciliation processes for inbound and outbound expats.
Liaise with payroll team to ensure data integrity for international payrolls (gross ups/ shadow payroll/ pension adjustments/sourcing etc.)
Conduct ongoing review and analysis of existing expatriate policy to ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Oversee the immigration process for expatriates, visa holders and international interns. This entails the supervision of the Immigration Specialist.
Conduct ongoing review of existing practices and procedures and streamline the administrative processes to ensure efficiency and cost control as appropriate.
Manage the international trainee and VIE programs by liaising with the hiring managers for the identification and selection of suitable candidates. This includes, but is not limited to, candidate screening, interviews and liaising with HR in Head Office.
