Job summary

Summary of position

Managing a development team working on Compliance systems. He ensures that all the projects, activities and tasks under the team’s responsibility are performed within quality standards, on schedule and cost effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

Organize and supervise all activities

- Report functionally to GIT/BLI/RCI managers in charge of relationship management of your business stakeholders and sponsors
- Reach agreements on plans for projects and services provided by the team and ensure deliveries within quality standards, on schedule and in agreed budget
- Manage budget and capacity allocation according to priorities communicated by functional manager 

Support and maintenance services of applications under team’s responsibility

- Manage support of your portfolio of applications in coordination with other organization units in charge of Run activities
- Escalate and follow-up the problem to external software provided or third party as needed

Development & enhancements of IT systems

- Ensure that each project are conducted as per agreed methodology and in respect for its governance
- Be involved in design, implementation and testing of solutions developed by the team and ensure that each solution fulfils the client needs
- Identify, evaluate and report risks and issues to ensure corrective and/or preventive measures are timely taken

Manage and improve the team capabilities

- Ensure cohesion and commitment of the team on its missions
- Evaluate staff members’ skill/knowledge and recommend training plan, organize staff mobility and staff career development
- Make sure his/her team members observe and respect the Bank’s CA-CIB code of conduct and comply with Bank policies.

General duties

- Adopt and deploy management practices & operating models promoted by IT management and support IT strategy
- Stay abreast of latest technology developments relevant to your domain
