Job summary
The Agency and Middle Office Team supports all business lines of CACIB Singapore branch, in their KYC duties, in the newly Client Service for Cash Management and automated Supply Chain products, acts as loan agent and monitors the portfolio of bilateral/syndicated facilities for Coverage, International Trade/Transaction banking (ITB), Debt Origination and Distribution / Corporate Leveraged Finance (CLF) and Structured/Project Finance. This role will be reporting to the COO in Singapore and to the Head of ITB Middle Office in Paris.
Responsibilities
Team management:
- Develop, motivate and effectively manage Team members (currently 6) to ensure high quality business support services. Ensure proper supervision under Work from Home arrangement;
- Establish vision, direction, and specific objectives for team efforts; encourage collaboration;
- Ensure team development through regular training/meetings to share knowledge/best practices;
- Perform budgeting, recruiting and performance management;
- Ensure efficient / transparent communication with local and global management regarding daily AMO tasks, potential issues/challenges encountered and send reportings within designated timelines;
- Represent AMO’s interests in discussions with other departments.
Loan & client servicing
- Coordinate AMO’s efforts to provide seamless support to Front Office when new deals are generated;
- Be proactive to further enhance AMO capacity in loan servicing (in particular on Agency);
- Lead and organize the implementation of the Client Service activity (Cash Management and automated RSF), position and prepare AMO to progressively take responsibilities in this client /account management servicing initiative under Head Office guidance, and escalate to Management all potential issues;
- Help Coverage and product Teams deploy new products in Singapore branch.
KYC (Know Your Customer) coordination
- Comply with Global and local requirements
- Monitor the KYC outsourcing to the platform, suggest workshop sessions, improvement when / where needed. Follow-up on KPI;
- Monitor onboarding and periodic review progress and present it to Front Office and local Management during Business Committees;
- Handle any remediation initiative.
Project management.
- Contribute to projects initiated locally or by the Head Office and act as regional coordinator when required:
- In the context of Benchmark Project, ensure a smooth transition of the existing portfolio (with particular attention given to Agency / bilateral deals) to the new reference rates in cooperation with Front Office Teams (and external legal counsel) and in line with the Project Team recommendations;
- In the frame of the Client Service Deployment for Cash management and RSF activities, lead the project locally and regionally (when required) to ensure a smooth deployment within Singapore and the region;
- Continue to work and propose solutions on simplification / automation / reducing paper usage on all processes where AMO is involved.
